Position: Senior Java Software Engineer

Location: NYC, NY (100% Remote)

Duration: 6+ Months

Ability to ask for help: even the most competent people occasionally find themselves over their head, either lacking the expertise or enough time to juggle the work. Transparency with other internal executive stakeholders/team members is valued. Elevate problems you can’t solve yourself early to the right people.

What are the requirements to be considered for this position?

Solid computer science fundamentals.

Write better, generalised, and testable code.

Hands-on familiarity with RDMS, NoSQL, AWS/GCP.

9+ years of IT Experience and understanding of the following technologies will help you be in strong contention for the position:

Java

Spring / Spring Boot

HTTP and REST APIs

Redis

MongoDB

XML processing

Docker

Unit testing

Have entrepreneurial mindset

Some exposure to functional programming is a plus.
