The Application Developer – Java Full Stack / Microservices

Location: Onsite in Marysville, OH. They typically begin most days onsite for the first 1-2 months and then dial it back once the candidate settles in.

 

The Application Developer – Java Full Stack / Microservices provides technical solutions to the needs of stakeholders by interpreting business requirements, defining technical tasks, engineering quality software, performing end to end testing as well as supporting and troubleshooting technical questions, software, and database issues.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Analysis, Design - Analyzes and resolves issues by coordinating with in‐house personnel (both on shore/off shore) to diagnose and fix operational difficulty, as well as consulting, advising and training on specialized features and functions. Provides general system users and management with system analysis and feedback. Influences system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements needs for software enhancements.
  • Code Development and Maintenance - Writes programs according to specifications from higher-level staff or business analysts. Resolves in a timely manner problems that arise with existing production applications to ensure the efficient and proper functioning of application components. Follows established configuration/change control processes Collaborates with technical staff to learn and understand software problem
  • QA and Standards - Performs unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements. Maximizes the efficiency of the various software systems by implementing, monitoring, testing and auditing new software programs
  • Documentation - Develops technical documentation. Document system functionality
  • Reporting - Generates a variety of complex and periodic reports and/or data through database management, data administration and data extraction techniques
  • Customer Support - Responds to Customer in timely fashion.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

  • Most have skill/experience:
  • Java Full Stack – must, at expert level
  • Enterprise experience developing and deployment Microservices
  • React native/Flutter/Cordova - Must have one of this.
  • Openshift/Docker - Must have
  • Jenkins - Must have
  • REST services - must have
  • Web development – must have, expert level
  • Websockets
  • Html 5
  • Local database
  • Cookie management
  • Http protocol
  • Other qualifications
  • ArgoCD - Good to have
  • Git - proficient in git commands
