Java fullstack developer

The Java developer will be working in the Transportation Fleet Squad and focus on web application (FE and backed).
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer skilled in Spring Boot for WEX IT, Genentech. The developer will work closely with Software Developers and Business analysts in the development of the Corporate Fleet Application.

Position Responsibilities:
·        Proficiency in the design and development of software applications, model data relationships.
·        Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MySQL and/or JBOSS server and markup languages such as HTML, XML, JSON.
·        Writing unit tests and performs integration testing to ensure high application quality to meet business requirements.
·        Develops an understanding of various deployment methods, tools and writes scripts and/or procedures to ensure efficient processes.
·        Ability to work, maintain and debug issues in databases and networking.

Position Qualifications:
·        Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related area of study.
·        5+ years of experience in a position performing software development.
·        Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, Hibernate experience required.
·        JavaScript, Bamboo experience preferred.
·        Experience with Angular
·        Must have the ability to learn Object Oriented Concepts, Design Patterns and the concepts of a Software Development Life Cycle.
·        Experience and ability to design database models.
·        Willingness to learn or comfortable with various tools and frameworks used such as: GIT, REST.
·        Understands the process of new application development and has the ability to apply these concepts with minimal mentoring and supervision.
·        Must have the ability to learn to provide support & maintenance for simple to complex software applications.
·        Adaptable to change.
·        Agile experience is highly preferable.

Note: Resume must include java github projects candidate has worked on, and also share knowledge/experience regarding configuration and transition to AWS.

Understanding of the process of application development with ability to work individually with minimal mentoring and supervision required. Ability to work with technical and business documentation.

Required for interview:
·        Should be able to explain code fragments.
·        Should be prepared for a coding test.
·        Should have English language at least at B2/C1 level
·        Should be flexible enough to work in the international team located in different time zones
