A day in the life of an IT Java Solution Architect

 

You are the grease in the cooperation between IT and Business stakeholders recognizing the correlation / dependencies between their activities.
You drive to make complex changes or projects happen within and across Tribes. Your holistic view as well as your knowledge of both Business and IT are crucial in the translation of business requirements in a sequence that delivers customer value as early as possible.
You define and align the roadmaps between squads – from same or different Tribes – and other parts of the organization and thoroughly manage dependencies.
You are the connecting pin between colleagues having different expertise in self-steering teams (squads). Your colleagues will be IT Integrators, IT Solution Architects, Engineers, Architects, Product Owners or Squad Masters, Developers, Customer Journey Experts, etc.
You are a driver of the solution approach (together with squads) using in-depth knowledge of Business and IT such as architecture, application landscapes, infrastructure, business operations and legislation.


Be an IT Solution Architect

You create technical designs for the implementation of effective solutions that meet the specific needs of an organization. Your technical designs have sufficient granularity for the development teams to implement. You guide the implementation during development and maintenance life cycle phases of IT solutions. You ensure that the implemented solution adheres to the technical design and architectural principles.
During development and maintenance life cycle, you provide technical guidance and support to the DevOps engineering team. They advise on how to implement the solution, participate in architectural design and implementation.

Your role;

Strengthen the technical design and implementation quality of IT Systems;
Optimize technology infrastructure, operational efficiency, scalability, reliability and security; 
Foster collaboration between architecture and engineering disciplines; 
Ensure seamless alignment between design, implementation and Business and Architecture;

Education

Any Graduate
