Our client is currently seeking a Java with Microservice .and some experience with C# or C++ to work on-site in Costa Mesa, CA.

This is a Contract job opportunity.

Job Details:

The API and Microservices Developer must have a strong hands-on development track record building integrations utilizing a variety of integration products, tools, protocols, technologies and patterns.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Professional information technology experience,

Must demonstrate very sound and in-depth understanding of SOA/EAI/ESB concepts, SOA Governance, Event Driven Architecture, message based architectures, file sharing and exchange platforms, data virtualization and caching strategies, J2EE design patterns, frameworks

Experience with multiple middleware technologies (Application Servers, BPMS, BRMS, ESB & Message Brokers), Programming languages (e.g. Java/J2EE, JavaScript, C), Operating Systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, MVS), Databases (DB2, MySQL, No SQL Databases like MongoDB etc.) and messaging solutions (e.g. Kafka) preferred

Advanced skills implementing API Service architectures (SOAP, REST) using any of the market leading API Management tools such as Apigee and frameworks such as Spring Boot for Microservices

Significant understanding of Microservice patterns & concepts & its application in problem solving

Significant understanding of cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platforms

Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and Container Management software (Kubernetes, Mesos) using Red Hat OpenShift

Expert knowledge with a track record of solution delivery using various data integration solutions in situations requiring real time (synchronous and asynchronous) messaging, Publish/Subscribe models, Microservices patterns, Middleware, and other related methodologies in a multi-user, multi-platform, multi-tier environment

Knowledge of IBM's z/OS Connect EE framework, DataPower (XML Appliance) and WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX) is desirable

Demonstrated knowledge in any of the test-driven/behavior-driven development practices as well as CI/CD tools, and in its usage for support of continuous integration & deployment
