Job Description: DevOps & Gateway Support Engineer
We are looking for DevOps Engineer to join our team of skilled professionals. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in software engineering, and DevOps& Gateway practices. The role will involve working on various projects involving the design, development, testing, and deployment of Java-based applications and managing the infrastructure using DevOps tools/practices & knowledge of gateway technologies
Responsibilities

  • Work with the development team to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Build and deploy applications in the development, testing, and production environments
  • Automate processes using continuous integration and deployment pipelines
  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance, and troubleshoot issues
  • Participate in design and architectural discussions to ensure best practices are applied
  • Seek opportunities to improve the DevOps process and the application support and build knowledge repository
  • Support gateway/network issues

Requirements

  • Proficient with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in building and deploying Cloud-based applications using AWS
  • Experience in designing and implementing automated testing and continuous integration pipelines
  • Good understanding of network fundamentals, gateway technologies (network, api)
  • Familiarity with protocols (HTTPS/HTTPS/MQTT, CoAP)
  • Troubleshooting skills related to gateway, connectivity, performance.
  • Familiarity with scripting langauage (Python) and automation
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL, including MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycles
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
