Java/GCP Engineer

Top skills needed are Java and GCP (no exceptions) and then Terraform and Kubernetes.

Need someone local to Columbus but will also consider someone willing to relocate. No other locations to work out of. Contract to hire role.

What is the team size? Would this developer interact with any other teams or business units? Team of 12 including leads. They would interact with other teams for DevOps.

Will you describe the existing tech stack in more detail, particularly how Terraform, Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer, and Kubernetes are currently utilized? Tech stack: we use those tools to breakdown incoming batch data, persist, enrich, and export.

Are there any specific data processing frameworks or tools that are used within the team? Data processing frameworks: BigQuery, pub/sub, FireStore

How is the current infrastructure set up with GCP, and what tools or services are most heavily used? Current infra: Same as answer 3

What is the interview process? Number of rds, coding exercises, etc. Try for just 1 round for 1.5 hours. 30 minutes for team fit and 1 hour technical including coding exercise. Coding exercise is done in Github and is a pairing exercise.
