JIRA administrator

Description;

 

provides configuration and administrative support of Cloud-based Atlassian tool suite, including multiple Jira , Confluence, and key 3rd party add-ons.

Key responsibilities include :

•  
  • Gather requirements for agile project processes, and implement JIRA projects accordingly
  • Utilizes design skills to define JIRA workflows and the related screen schemes for complex and high impact projects
  • Determine ways to optimize/improve JIRA/Confluence/BitBucket build and configure
  • Provide application support for JIRA and Confluence users
  • Have sound Understanding of JIRA APIs and webhooks
  • Support JIRA and Confluence automation, Develops and maintains integrations between JIRA and other systems
  • Work with business users to evaluate JIRA and Confluence plug-ins, determine licensing needs, and perform testing, installation and configuration of the plug-ins
  • Support and configure JIRA plugins as required
  • Generate documentation on workflows and processes implemented in JIRA to support runbooks
  • Create JIRA projects, queries and reports as required by teams

Professional Experience & Attributes :

•  
  • 5-7 years’ experience in supporting JIRA 
  • Understanding of Scrum and Kanban practices, principles and operating models
