We are seeking an experienced JIRA Administrator to join our team in Bangalore. As a JIRA Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing JIRA to support our agile development teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of JIRA and its integration with other tools. Key Responsibilities:

 

• Configure and customize JIRA to meet the needs of various teams and projects.

• Maintain and administer JIRA projects, workflows, and issue types.

• Manage user permissions, roles, and access controls within JIRA.

• Provide support to users and troubleshoot issues related to JIRA.

• Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements and implement JIRA solutions accordingly.

• Monitor and optimize the performance of JIRA to ensure efficient and smooth operation.

• Ensure proper integration of JIRA with other tools, such as Confluence, Bitbucket, and various plugins.

• Keep up to date with best practices and industry trends in JIRA administration and agile methodologies.

• Create and maintain documentation and training materials for JIRA users.

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve JIRA processes.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

• 4+ years of experience as a JIRA Administrator.

• Strong knowledge of JIRA, including configuration and customization.

• Experience in setting up and managing JIRA projects, workflows, and permissions.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development processes.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving related to JIRA.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• JIRA certification is a plus.
