Jira Configuration and Customization: Manage and configure Jira to meet the needs of various teams and departments within the organization.
Create custom workflows, issue types and screen schemes. User Management: Maintain and administer user accounts, permissions and roles.
Ensure proper access control to maintain security and data integrity.
Integration: Integrate Jira with other tools and systems such as Confluence, Bitbucket and third-party plugins to enhance collaboration and streamline processes.
Automation: Implement automation rules and scripts using Jira’s built-in features or scripting languages like Groovy or Python to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
Support and Training: Provide support, training and documentation to Jira users ensuring they can effectively use the platform for their daily tasks.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, changes and procedures to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing within the team.
Security Compliance: Ensure Jira and related systems comply with security and privacy standards implementing best practices for data protection.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with different teams and departments to gather requirements and communicate updates and changes effectively.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a Jira Administrator with a strong understanding of Jira’s capabilities and best practices.
Proficiency in configuring and customizing Jira, including workflows, schemes and permission schemes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
A proactive and result-oriented mindset. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Plus: Jira Administrator or Atlassian Certifications Experience with Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket and other Atlassian tools Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) for automation
