DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: (Required)
The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of 1 ServiceNow Developer hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualification of Software Developer Emerging Technology and the specifications outlined in this document for Texas Department of Transportation.
As a ServiceNow Administrator, you will be responsible for configuration, administration, maintenance, implementation, and expertise of TxDOT’s ServiceNow implementation. You have a solution-focused mindset and the ability to provide excellent customer service, training, and support.
Configure and enhance core application, including, but not limited to, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Incidents, CMDB, Knowledge Base, and Reporting
Administration of ServiceNow platform, including issue and performance mitigation, and health checks.
Guide the improvement of IT support, service management, and managed services deliverables and workflows.
Establish and enforce systems design and architectural standards through communication, documentation, and metrics.
Establish and maintain the implementation of best practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Plans, develops, tests, manages, and documents system configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Ability to work well in a team and independently, communicating clearly and regularly through multiple means to operations, peers, and management.
Gathering and reviewing stakeholder process requirements and mapping them to ServiceNow capabilities with an eye to industry best practices.
Maintaining existing applications and implementing additional applications.
Upgrading the ServiceNow Platform on a regular basis.
Determines the cause of application or environment problems by gathering information related to the problem; identifies appropriate resolution options; obtains appropriate approval; and coordinates the execution of the selected option.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
