Junior Field Network Engineer

Support, Assist and Participate in the following operations and projects related matters, including but not limited to:
1. Provide network support for events standby e.g. Open house, Exam, etc.
2. Handle (enquiry/fault/change request) cases pertaining to network related.
3. Escort of cabling vendors or ISP installer to LAN room or Datacentres.
4. Housekeeping of LAN wiring closets.
5. Replace faulty networking equipment.
6. Network Asset Management/Disposal.
7. Basic Troubleshooting on network issues.
8. Perform basic software upgrade
9. Upgrades & patches
10. Perform Performance monitoring and basic tuning
11. Security management and integrity checks
12. Job scheduling and monitoring of network availability

Qualifications of Resident Junior Field Network Engineer

• Diploma / ITE in computer science or IT or Engineering.
• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in enterprise network implementation and administration.
• Experience in Basic Cisco switching and networking is desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
