Junior Manual QA Engineer

monitoring every phase of the software development process so as to ensure design quality, performing manual testing on various test levels: feature, integration, system (E2E)
executing various test types: functional (acceptance, regression, smoke, sanity), non-functional (basic performance, usability, basic security etc.)
making sure that the software adheres to the clients expectations and to the standards set by the company, monitoring production environment constantly
communicating closely with all members of the development team in order to find appropriate and timely solutions
analyze results of testing, create bug reports, track defects to closure
creating and maintaining test documentation: test cases, check lists

You are ready, if you have …

at least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance and/or software testing
good knowledge of testing principles, methods and test design techniques, deep understanding of SDLC and testing processes, test documentation development principles and methods
understanding of SQL and hands-on experience using one of the RDBMS
experience with XML, JSON, Web Services/REST, SQL (SELECT, UPDATE, JOINS), network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SMTP)
have experience using API testing tool (e.g. Postman) and issue-tracking tool (e.g. JIRA)
basic Linux commands will be a plus
intermediate or fluent level of English and are enjoying working in an international company
