This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Junior Oracle Technical Consultant who will play a major role with the technical design and development of the company’s technical offerings. The position is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations. Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities): Developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly, network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems. To provide and deliver development services around Oracle Middleware Solutions and Technologies - Oracle Identity Management. Systems Administration in Oracle and Amazon Cloud (AWS). Enable provisioning and ongoing support of our Oracle hosted client solutions and Oracle internal infrastructure. Develop and optimize database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and triggers. Perform data modeling and database performance tuning. Create and maintain technical documentation for Oracle solutions, including design documents, code documentation, and deployment guides. Provide technical support to clients during implementation and post-implementation phases. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle applications and databases. Configure and develop middleware solutions to facilitate data exchange between Oracle and other systems. Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment] Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus. Strong expertise in Oracle technologies, including Oracle Database, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle APEX, and PL/SQL. Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware components (WebLogic, SOA Suite, etc.). Proficient in Oracle application development tools and frameworks. Experience with Java, JavaScript, or other relevant programming languages. In-depth knowledge of Oracle database concepts, SQL, and database optimization techniques. Familiarity with OTLR earning policies, shift differentials, rotations plan. Expertise in payroll functional step-ups including local, state, federal taxes, pay runs. Good understanding of the IT market & trends and IT architecture. Previous experience in Oracle implementation projects or consulting roles. Capable of integrating Third party tools with Oracle Apps Databases. Other Key skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
