Junior Research Systems Administrator

This position will support the department’s research computational infrastructure as a Linux and Windows servers administrator, enterprise data storage administrator, and web server administrator. This position must perform all duties in an IT security-aware fashion which includes regular updates of the storage system, virtualization system, SLURM cluster system, IT support ticketing system, Linux and Windows operating system, system backup, protecting research data, and respecting privacy.

Top skills you need to have:

• Master's degree with 1 year of cumulative IT work experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative IT work experience, or A combination of relevant education and experience.
• Enterprise virtualization system administration
• Linux Server administration
• Web server administration
• Windows server administration in an Active Directory domain
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs
