Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for maximizing the value of Kubernetes container services (K8s) in the public cloud (Azure) as a product for internal clients to support their cloud application modernization efforts.
Maintains the roadmap for the K8s product ecosystem, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog, and articulating progress to both stakeholders and the application development team.
Gathers requirements from stakeholders to understand their needs, and with the Portfolio Product Manager in a scaled Agile model to ensure there is alignment.
Possess a strong technical knowledge of container orchestration, Deployment models, K8s operators, API driven integration capabilities, applicable security controls, and basic understanding of the business or technology domain.
With some guidance, has ability to refine the capability roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain, and periodically share with stakeholders and the team.
Work closely with engineering delivery and architecture teams, onboard SRE and Prod Ops teams early on to new features to ensure supportability.
Works with cross functional stake holders to gather K8s product requirements, design enhancements, and define engineering milestones for delivery on Azure
Identify the K8s E2E integration dependencies from on-prem to public cloud inclusive of seamless CI-CD pathways to operationalize product adoption.
Maintain product development that represent technical delivery, controls enablement, and operational maturity.
Effectively communicate the product roadmap, key features, and delivery milestones to internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain the service capability documentation and roadmaps.
Create and update Product Jiras to support Agile routines
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Skills-DevOps Engineer/Specialist, Kubernetes/K8, Azure.
Bachelor's degree in related discipline
7-8 years of IT professional experience in financial services
3 years of experience as a technical product owner preferably in a container related area
Experience creating K8s (openshift and native cloud K8s) pipeline for deployment operation activities
Application workload K8s cluster design, infra capacity sizing, and stack monitoring
K8s container service orchestration Azure Security baselines.
Knowledge of AquaSec Policy Enforcement and remediation
Expertise on Creating TFE templates for auto-provisioning of test environments .
Proficient in technical documentation, and Test Case Preparation.
Demonstrates a solid understanding of cloud technologies and containers
Experience working with cloud services providers (CSPs)
Competency in implementing technology operating models for financial services technology
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of Azure network, security controls, and cloud design best practices to enable application K8s workloads to run seamlessly on Azure containers
Experience publishing roadmaps for Cloud product Path to Production GA, and operational support
Experience developing product onboarding workflows for client facing documentation
Familiarity with Azure managed identities, Service principals, certificates or forms authentication
Knowledge of automated deployment templates to provision K8s PaaS
Conforming to bank information security standards for release of container based services
3 years of Experience gathering new requirements, defining product backlog, help to prioritize maturity evolution of product
AZ-400 DevOps Certified Engineer, Kubernetes Administration
Use of Terraform templates to automate PaaS onboarding
Familiarity with user log monitoring, events, and cloud native stacks
Experience in agile development and tooling
Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate complex technology solutions to senior stakeholders
