Job Brief
You’ll be responsible for managing and handling user tickets and supporting O365, Server, and Network infrastructures.
Senior System Engineer responsibilities include supervising our Support Operations team,
monitoring system performance, and configuring new software solutions, tools, and hardware.
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with various operating systems.
Ultimately, you will ensure that the support tickets are closed within SLA and make sure all the software, hardware, servers, and networks run smoothly.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Configure systems as required.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
· Handle and monitor the user trouble tickets.
· Supervise the Support Operations team.
· Troubleshoot and upgrade the network infrastructure.
· Install applications, servers, devices, and firewalls as required.
· Train new system users and set up their accounts.
· Monitor the performance of servers, software, and hardware.
· Ensure the smooth deployment of new applications.
· Update technical documentation.
Requirements and Skills
· Any Graduate with about 2-4+ Years of experience
· Should have knowledge of migration tools and techniques.
· Should have hands-on experience and knowledge of Windows servers 2012, 2016, 2019, and Windows 11 operating system support.
· Should have hands-on experience and knowledge of Windows server Services like Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and other key services.
· Should have hands-on experience and knowledge in O365, GSuite
· Should have hands-on experience and knowledge of system patch updates and security techniques.
· Should have hands-on experience and knowledge of Various Antivirus and endpoint security tools like McAfee, Sophos, Symantec, Trend Micro, etc.,
· Should have hands-on experience and knowledge Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks.
· Knowledge of Meraki or Aruba network devices will be an added advantage.
· Knowledge of Firewalls, Switches, and other network devices will be an added advantage.
· Must have knowledge and hands-on experience in Azure or AWS platforms.
· Must have worked or experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, ManageEngine, etc.,
· Must have experience with ticketing tools such as Fresh Service or Service Now.
· Should be a good team player with Good problem-solving and communication skills.
