Job Description

Responsible for the functional design, and implementation of mobile/cellular systems with knowledge in Wan-Lan environment LTE/4G-5G, XLTE-AWS TCP/IP/UDP.
The candidate must also be proficient in Excel.
Strong analytical skills required for router and modem log analysis, work with circuit carrier to troubleshoot and isolate issues.
Able to debug down to the physical layer issues.
Analyzes mobile modem side logs for various technology to root cause issues along with TCP analysis.
Strong RF background required across multiple wireless technologies. Good OTA fundamental knowledge and understanding along with practical experience.
Provide technical support to all engineers for various wireless cellular networks.
Maintain knowledge on new wireless network products
Supervise site hardware installation, ensure appropriate integration of wireless network devices in various networks and protocols
Perform audit in wireless site, ensure viability with network and recommend solutions for compatibility.
Strong communications interpersonal skills required with the ability to manage relationships across functional areas.
Serve as a liaison between Network and other departments including security with regards to wireless cellular routers/modems.
Assist in provisioning, documenting testing and delivering, wireless cellular data devices.
Work with vendors and internal personnel to troubleshoot and rectify any issues that arise from wireless cellular devices. Responsibilities include functional design and implementation of mobile-cellular systems for 4G-5G networks for NJT. Assist in providing strategies to migrate cellular devices from one network to another for multiple projects.
Responsible for managing and heading projects within specialized departments such as Police, Access Link, Light Rail, Heavy Rail, OBV, CCTV, Smart Bus, TVM, and PTC.
Assist with the configuration and support for all cellular data modems and routers.
Provide tech support to all internal users regarding any issue that involves cellular modem-router devices.
Activating new devices and assuring that all documentation is in place and updated.
Working on updating and creating Visio diagrams for all new mobile private networks.
Assisting in analyzing data for overages and making recommendations on processes for improvements.
The candidate must be flexible to come into the office
