Laboratory Technician

Main Responsibilities:

Prepare lab samples using CNC Mill, hand tools, Scotch Brite, sandpaper, and degreaser. 

Test lab samples for physical properties such as Rockwell Hardness, tensile strength, and conductivity

Pack and ship production samples within the company and to customers

Physical Requirements:

Capable of working in a manufacturing environment with required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel toe boots, metatarsal boots, hearing protection, and gloves

Competence in completing detailed part inspections regularly

Proficiency in using and reading inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauge pins

Competence in safely using hand tools such as deburring tools, small hammers, screwdrivers, and pliers
