JOB DESCRIPTION:

Day to Day:

  • Create or modify LabVIEW and TestStand, and C# programs to meet testing needs for current or upcoming programs
  • Create test operational documents to support current and modified programs.
  • Full lifecycle application development. Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.
  • Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis.
  • Software experience level Advanced
  • Software modeling and simulation.
  • Front-end graphical user interface design.
  • Software testing and quality assurance. Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
  • Support, maintain and document software functionality. Integrate software with existing systems.
  • Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation.
  • Project Planning and Project Management. Maintain standards compliance.
  • Implement localization or globalization of software.
  • Ability to write proposal for new projects or modernization of existing equipment
  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical test equipment and components.
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor of Science in applicable engineering or science field preferred, however candidates with relevant equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Experience using NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand
  • 3-5 years of active LabVIEW experience required
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing C#
  • Experience with National Instruments hardware
  • Experience using and manipulating data using Microsoft Access
  • Able to create documents in MS Word, Excel and Access.
  • Experience in an industrial manufacturing testing environment or a related discipline
