Layer7 Operations Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage Layer7 API Gateway operations and troubleshoot issues.
Oversee the installation, upgrades, and configurations of Layer7 software.
Develop and execute API policies and assertions within Layer7.
Handle incident management, service continuity, and problem resolution.
Ensure the security of API Gateway by implementing robust security policies and configurations.
Create and maintain thorough documentation of processes, systems, and user guides.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient operation, robustness, and scalability of the Layer7 platform.
Ensure optimal performance of the Layer7 platform by conducting regular system checks and balances.

Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of API Gateway operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with network protocols, system administration, and network security.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Demonstrated knowledge of API development and management.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work in night shift

Preferred Skills:

Certification in Layer7 or related field.
Familiarity with ITIL service management framework.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
