Job Summary
Recommending, designing, implementing, and optimizing CDW’s ServiceNow infrastructure.
Applying expert knowledge and skills to deliver a stable, secure, and robust ServiceNow platform for CDW’s operations.
Leading support efforts when ServiceNow issues arise and coordinating and driving successful implementations of platform enhancements.
Mentoring and providing guidance to the ServiceNow Support staff.
Providing subject matter and technical expertise to support CDW’s ServiceNow instances.
Collaborating with ServiceNow teams to ensure the design, configuration and performance meets the needs of the ServiceNow service.
Designing, developing, and testing ServiceNow tactical enhancements to existing module.
Analyzing business processes to identify opportunities and requirements for improved collaboration.
Leading activities related to application presentation as they relate to ServiceNow environments.
Monitoring ServiceNow platform for failures and performance problems.
Providing Tier 3 support for ServiceNow Incident, Problem, and Request queue.
Supporting security policies, practices, and guidelines for ServiceNow platform.
Contributing to the continual improvement ServiceNow Support Services processes.
Ensuring all time is recorded accurately and keeping calendar up to date with scheduled activities.
Education And Experience
BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent IT knowledge/experience.
5+ years of Information Technology Engineering experience.
Demonstrated competence in development of the ServiceNow platform as well as multiple modules.
CSA and CIS ITSM certifications – current or within 6 months of hire.
Experience with Agile methods of software development and delivery.
Proven history of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology.
3+ years working on the ServiceNow platform.
At least 1 CIS certification (in addition to CIS-ITSM) – current or within 6 months of hire.
ITIL Foundations Certification.
Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, SSL, SAML/SSO and other such technologies.
Experience with web services integrations.
Experience with domain-separated environments.
Experience implementing systems using the SAFe methodology.
