Lead Cloud Engineer

Project Summary:
As a Lead Cloud Engineer, you will support the implementation, 24x7 operational support, automation, availability, and performance management of public cloud platforms, with a focus on Azure (80%), hashtag#AWS (10%), and hashtag#Oracle Cloud (10%).

Essential Functions:
- Evaluate application and infrastructure cloud readiness.
- Develop and execute cloud migration plans to support the transition from on-premise to cloud services.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis (1 week every 10 weeks).

Top Five Skills Required:
- 10+ years of overall IT architecture, infrastructure, and/or administration experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in multi-cloud platforms (Storage, Network, Backup, Database Support) with Azure VM experience required.
- Broad foundational IT skillset including supporting Azure Cloud services, Linux/Windows Operating Systems, server configurations (networking, storage, and security principles).
- Hands-on hashtag#automation and hashtag#scripting experience.

Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Azure Active Directory, Landing Zone, hashtag#Microsoft Entra ID.
- Azure Architect certification, Active Azure Administrator certification, or hashtag#Azure Cloud Fundamentals certification.
- Prior healthcare payer experience.
- hashtag#PowerShell scripting experience.
