Lead Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to mentor and lead the buildout and support of our Data Lake solutions. This person will be a hands-on partner who can work across various business units and technical teams to build the next generation data solutions for Company.

Required Skills:

7+ yrs data engineering experience

Experience leading a team of data engineers

Proven ability to architect & deploy scalable solutions

Strong Python

Strong SQL and NoSQL database experience

Strong AWS experience and Terraform

Deep knowledge of big data frameworks like Spark and Presto

Expertise in Lakehouse architectures, Delta/Parquet file formats, Hive Metastore Solutions, and ETL processes (using Airflow and Databricks)

10/10 communication skills as they will be working across various teams in the business

Preferred Skills:

Payments industry experience preferred

Kafka

AWS certification
