Description

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

7+ years of experience managing Oracle or Postgres databases, as well as Linux operating systems. Other DB engines like SQL Server or MySQL are a plus. Cassandra is a plus. 

Good English communication skills. 

You have good analytic skills in order to do DB performance tuning. 

You have basic skills on infrastructure: you are familiar with basic networking concepts and storage management at OS level (Linux) 

 

It would be great if you also had . . .  

Experience working in AWS or any other cloud would be great. 

Experience with DevOps and automation tools and basic knowledge about DevOps processes 

 

What will you be doing in this role? 

Assisting on new deployments and onboarding legacy databases to our team. 

Supporting developers to ensure their applications query the DBs in the most efficient, possible way. 

Assisting with your expertise to new projects in order to define the best technologies and approaches to use from the DBA perspective. 

Assisting to resolve day to day incidents with our assets.
