Lead Developer - ETL with AWS

The Developer Lead will be key contributor to the project team in ensuring technical designs are delivering the defined business requirements. The Developer Lead should understand ETL processes, AWS cloud technologies, data Controls and managing Onshore/Offshore development teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translate requirements and data mapping documents to a technical design.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain code following best practices and standards.
• Create and execute unit test plans. Support regression and system testing efforts.
• Debug and problem solve issues found during testing and/or production.
• Communicate status, issues, and blockers with project team.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying and solving opportunities

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience in related field (preferably computer science).
• Deep understanding of enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards.
• At least 7+ years of experience in ETL development delivering data to various databases i.e. Oracle, SQL
• At least 7+ years of experience leading development teams
• At least 7+ years of experience writing PL/SQL queries.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience defining future state roadmaps.
• Experience in financial services (banking) industry supporting regulatory data team.
• Deep understanding of enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards.
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies.
• Understand Authentication & Authorization Services, Identity & Access Management.
• Experience with the following applications: IBM DataStage, Zena, Infogix, PL/SQL Developer, Snowflake and ServiceNow
