Description

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure and DevOps Automation Engineer with experience in industry standard CI/CD technologies like Chef, Habitat, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Apmate, Git/BitBucket.
  • Core experience in DevOps, continuous integration, continuous delivery
  • Ability to work with DevOps Team and Developers to streamline processes, improve automation and explain design decisions.
  • Knowledge of DevOps Automation best practices and how to implement them.
  • Designing and developing build and deploy automation scripts
  • Experience at working in hybrid cloud environments
  • Experience containerizing application software using Docker
  • Provisioning infrastructure and container images in multiple clouds

Required Skills:

Education Requirement: Bachelor's or Master's degrees in Computer Science, Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or their foreign equivalents in education.

Experience:

  • Experience in automating setting up Production and Non-Production environments in different data centers using Chef, Habitat.
  • Experience designing and implementing efficient CI/CD flows to get code from dev to prod with high quality and no manual intervention.
  • Experience in automating builds using Maven.
  • Experience setting up and administering Jenkins pipelines.
  • Use Jenkins to orchestrate builds as well as link to Sonar, Chef, Maven, Artifactory etc to build out CI/CD pipeline.
  • Design, implement and enhance lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
  • Work with developers to create validation scripts and perform testing and monitoring.
  • Strong Linux and shell scripting experience.
  • Advanced branching strategies experience is desirable
