Responsibilities:
- Lead a distributed team of QA Engineers who will perform ETL, DB and functional testing.
- Design test documentations like Validation Plans, Test Plans, Val Reports…etc.
- Derive high level SVT estimations by closely working with rest of groups
- Documents all problems and work with respective teams for resolution
- Thoroughly tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects prior to implementation
- Work with IT and business groups to support quality and acceptance testing.
- Resolve team members issues and escalate as necessary.
- Mentor new team members and at times manages junior level test engineers.
- Conduct cross functional and technical sessions and prepare presentations for future references.
- Proactively identifies and discusses challenges, risk and mitigation plan with Manager and Technical Leads for input before proceeding.
You'll have (Qualification & Experience):
- 8+ years of experience in software testing, with strong hold on ETL/DB and manual
- Understands Software Testing methodologies and the testing life cycle (smoke tests, data base, functional, integration, regression).
- Knowledge on SDLC, Agile Methodologies like Scrum.
- Experience working with IT Developers on system enhancements and new functionality to fulfill business requirements.
- Organized and Detail Oriented.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong command on test documentation tools like ALM, JIRA, ADO…etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team to meet hard deadlines.
- Ability to organize and present information in clear and concise formats.
