Lead Engineer - Quality Engineering- DWH

Looking for ETL developers with 5-7 years of core DWH experience who would like an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, creative and challenging work environment. Responsible for leading, planning, designing, and writing test cases. Works closely with Manager and other department Leads in supporting our Product?s roadmap. Essential Job Functions o Lead a distributed team of QA Engineers who will perform ETL, DB and functional testing. o Design test documentations like Validation Plans, Test Plans, Val Reports?etc. o Derive high level SVT estimations by closely working with rest of groups o Documents all problems and work with respective teams for resolution o Thoroughly tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects prior to implementation o Work with IT and business groups to support quality and acceptance testing. o Resolve team members issues and escalate as necessary. o Mentor new team members and at times manages junior level test engineers. o Conduct cross functional and technical sessions and prepare presentations for future references. o Proactively identifies and discusses challenges, risk and mitigation plan with Manager and Technical Leads for input before proceeding. Qualifications o 5 years of experience in software testing, with strong hold on ETL/DB and manual o Understands Software Testing methodologies and the testing life cycle (smoke tests, data base, functional, integration, regression). o Knowledge on SDLC, Agile Methodologies like Scrum. o Experience working with IT Developers on system enhancements and new functionality to fulfill business requirements. o Organized and Detail Oriented. o Excellent problem-solving skills. o Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary. o Strong written and oral communication skills. o Strong command on test documentation tools like ALM, JIRA, ADO?etc. o Ability to work independently as well as with a team to meet hard deadlines. o Ability to organize and present information in clear and concise formats.
