Lead ETL DataStage Developer

Description 

Agency is seeking 2 Systems Senior Architects to work with staff for the purpose of analyzing, developing, and testing for all aspects of the NYS DMV data migration modernization initiative. The DMV Transformation program is a multi-phase, multi-year program, which includes multi phases of modernization projects.

Duties 

• The candidates will analyze, design/functional specifications which adhere to IT standards and policies.
• Migrate data to appropriate repositories.
• Participate in requirement gathering and design discussions.
• Verbally communicate with senior IT SMEs to elicit requirements.
• Responsible for developing ETL processes for the migration of NYS DMV legacy data.
• Work in a team environment, as well as independently.
• Comply with data standards and policies.
• Learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value.
• Assist with Quality Assurance testing.
• Create Data Mapping Documents from Source to Target

Mandatory Requirements 

• Experience (10+ Years)
• Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design.

Requirements 

• This is an 100% Onsite
• 60 months experience with ETL (data migration) using Data Stage (IBM Infosphere)
• 60 months testing experience, including: Data Validation, creating comprehensive test plans, executing test plans, and reconciliation of data migrations
• 60 months experience creating clear, concise technical documentation which includes professional detailed design specifications.
