Lead Oracle DBA (AWS)

Job Summary:

The Oracle DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical DB servers, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of the applications. This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Role and Responsibilities:

8+ Years’ experience in database administration, operations, and production support

Excellent knowledge in resolving performance tuning issues.

Hands on experience AWS is Must and migration the project and troubleshooting etc.

Experience in Monitoring, back up/ Recovery Management, DB Provisioning/de-provisioning, DB refresh/restore, HA/DRE, Patching, migration, replication, and upgrades.

Understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management

Experience in tools such as Service Now, JIRA, Confluence

Ability to document solutions and train operational teams

Experience with Amazon Web Services or Azure

Experience with automation, Ansible, Python

Experience in Sybase, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control, SQL Server, Postgres, Cloudera, Hadoop is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication

Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.

Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams

Experience in financial domain is a major plus

Experience in handling the team, people management skills.

Education & Certifications:-   B.Tech / M.C.A / OR Any PG
