The Lead Services Engineer is responsible for technical leadership for building and managing API Governance tools for discovery, design, and lifecycle management. This individual serves as a lead resource and developer on the Digital Guest Experience team for supporting project workload requested by business/marketing and departments within Information Technology. The Services Engineer provides thought leadership and technical leadership for other services engineers as well as architects and business analysts on forward development and feature design/discovery. This is a temporary position
Responsibilities:
Designs, develops and documents feature requests for various business and marketing functionality requests.
Azure, MongoDB, NPM Packages, Workato, Imperva security, automation tools, etc.
Leads design, development and maintenance of cloud software according to best practices and standards.
Research emerging technology trends to make appropriate industry recommendations.
Implements the necessary controls and procedures to protect information systems assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure, or destruction.
Coordinate and collaborate with development teams and assist with other team functions as needed to provide Services support.
Supports Mobile (iOS and Android) and Web development teams in what services enhancements can be designed to achieve desired features and functionality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or appropriate industry experience required.
5+ years Node.js experience required.
3+ Years Azure experience is preferred.
APIM, App Gateway, Azure Functions (Node.js), Key Vault, Storage Account, VNET, App Insights.
Experience leading development teams preferred.
Relevant, industry-recognized technical certifications are a plus.
