About this role:

Risk and Finance technology has embarked on an ambitious Risk Transformation program and as part of that we are looking for a Lead Software Engineer who will be part of the Application development team. You will be responsible for leading the agile team and providing them technical guidance, driving the design discussions and responsible for delivering complex workflow application supporting model life cycle. The team is responsible for ensuring the stability of products designed for Corporate Risk Technology (CRT) - Model Governance and Validation area.

Required Skills:

  • Overall 13+ years IT industry experience.
  • Hands on developer, ability to convert functional requirements into code using best practices and industry standards
  • 10+ years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring MVC, SpringUI, ORM (Hibernate, Spring JDBC, JPA), JDBC, SpringBoot, Messaging Services (Kafka, JMS),
  • 10+ years of experience in building web applications using HTML, CSS utilizing JavaScript, Html5, CSS, JQuery, Angular 6, 7 and above, Bootstrap and integration RESTful API’s.
  • Prior experience and understanding of cloud technologies.
  • Hands on experience working with Azure, GCP or AWS.
  • JIRA/Confluence Proficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong business partnering skills with resources across the organization in a matrix environment.
  • Experience unit testing
  • 2+ years of experience in Business Process Model tools and related technologies such JBPM
  • Strong knowledge of Agile
  • Strong Experience in working with global delivery teams
  • Strong Experience in establishing end-to-end SDLC practices and DEVOPS

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of web application development experience
  • 10+ years of Java experience
  • 8+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
  • 6+ years of JMS (Java Message Service) experience
  • 6+ years of Java Web Services experience
  • 6+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
