About the role:
Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of operator dashboards, ensuring alignment with the operational needs of cybersecurity professionals.
Utilize expertise in React and Java to seamlessly integrate APIs into our cybersecurity applications, enhancing functionality and connectivity.
Contribute to end-to-end development processes with a focus on meeting unique security requirements associated with TS/SCI clearance.
Collaborate closely with operators to understand workflows and operational needs, translating insights into effective dashboard features.
Implement real-time monitoring features within dashboards, providing operators with immediate visibility into cybersecurity events and threats.
Focus on all aspects of the product development life cycle, including creating, implementing, and supporting new features and capabilities in a platform as a service (PaaS) application.
Enhance data processing methods to ensure the highest levels of information system security.
Travel to customer sites within the continental US if required, providing exceptional customer service in high-pressure situations.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of customer requirements and how the product functions within the larger ecosystem.
Gain knowledge of the project's policies, procedures, and change management plan.
Familiarize yourself with the technologies used by the team product and explore alternative implementations and solutions.
Collaborate with Product Owner/Scrum Master, team leads, and other team members to meet or exceed customer requirements.
Perform maintenance tasks on existing products.
Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience.
Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is mandatory.
Proficiency in React and Java programming.
Extensive experience in troubleshooting and debugging.
Analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Knowledge and/or experience in CNO (Computer Network Operations) capability development.
Capability to sustain sedentary work conditions for extended durations (50% of the time) and proficiently operate computer equipment and office machinery.
Experience in UI/UX architecture and Human-Centered Design (HCD).
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of software analysis and reverse engineering.
Familiarity with low-level internals in areas such as Windows, Unix, Mobile, or Network devices.
Experience in unit and/or system testing.
Proficiency in using Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible).
Open Source/Internet research skills.
Familiarity with DoD DevSecOps principles and practices, i.e. DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Reference Design, V2.0
Familiarity with Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles and practices.
Knowledge of Design Thinking methodologies.
