Job Description

The Linen Distribution Attendant is responsible for performing the collection of soiled linen, cart loading, delivering clean linen to user areas and participation in linen inventories, in accordance with established standards.

Per JACHO / OSHA, the Linen Distribution Attendant must be responsible for wearing gloves and hospital issued scrubs and/or other Personal Protective Equipment as required, when collecting soiled linen.

The Linen Distribution Attendant maintains the Scrub Suit exchange system in stocking of scrubs in user areas.
