Linux Administrator

Description

System Administrator consultant  to provide assistance with installation, configuration, troubleshooting of 3rd party application and security vulnerability mitigation.

Duties

• Software installation and configuration.
• Troubleshoot software installation issues.
• Perform problem root cause analysis.
• Citrix Netscaler administrator or Axway SecureTransport administrator (enterprise file transfer system).
• Assist in creation and update of techinical documenation.
• Assist in process impovement.
• Day to day operational task for Axway SecureTransport File Transfer system.(create,update,troubleshoot and remove accounts as needed)
• Assist in vulnerability mitigation for various application installations.
• On-call and some weekend work will be required.
• Additional tasks as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements

• Experience (8+ Years)
• Maintains the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems; especially multi-user computers, such as servers. Ensures that the uptime, performance, resources and security of the computers he or she manages meet the needs of the users.

Requirements 

• This is an 100% Remote.
• 60 Months of various hardware experience in Linux, AIX and Windows Server.
• 60 Months of Installation and configuration experience in various 3rd party applications.
• 60 Months of experience mitigating security vulnerabilities.
• 60 Months of experience in Technical Documentation
