Linux Administrator

Position Summary
Linux Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux infrastructure,
ensuring system availability, performance, and security. This role involves working closely with
other IT professionals to support business operations and improve IT systems.

Work Model   WFO
Shift Type Rotational shifts in EST.

Education and Qualifications
• Experience: 4+ years in an IT role or related domain
• Excellent communication and technical troubleshooting skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, including communication skills, active listening, and strong customer care instincts.
• A bachelor’s degree (any stream) preferably in computer science or a related field.

Must-Have:
• Good conceptual understanding of different versions of Linux OS (Red Hat, Open SUSE, CentOS Debian, and Ubuntu)
• Able to install OS, create partitions, configure networks, and manage the Security of Linux Servers. Knowledge with Iptables.
• Good knowledge of Bash and Python.
• Good understanding of Disaster recoveries and Backups.
• User Management, Applications installations and
• Developed and implemented monitoring systems activities.
• Able to audit logs and suggest next remediations plan.

Added Advantage
• Knowledge of at least one other cloud hosting solution besides AWS or Google Cloud
• Networking skills (Windows) is additional
• Conceptual understanding or hands-on experience in Firewalls management
