Job Description: Linux Engineer
Experience: 4-8 years

Location: Pune, India (WFO)

Responsibilities

 Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers
(e.g., RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) in both physical and virtual environments.
 Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to
ensure optimal system efficiency and uptime.

 Develop and maintain scripts (using Bash, Python, or other languages) for
task automation, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
 Collaborate with development teams to implement infrastructure as code
(e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines for efficient application
deployment.

Preferred Skill Set

 Linux Administration - RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian
 Scripting and Automation - Shell scripting (Bash, Python, etc.) and
automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

Qualifications
 4-8 years of hands-on experience in managing Linux systems (e.g.,
RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian).

 Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, etc.) and
cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
 

Business Hour
 Normal Business hours - The expectation would be to start late and cover
EST time until 12 PM. Exception subject to manager permission.
