Linux L3 + scripting

About the job

Install, Configure and maintain Linux Operating systems 
Trouble shooting OS and Hardware issues
Performing incidents Service requests, change and problem management activities 
Perform unix server builds, decommission and upgrades
Vendor Co-ordinations
Monitor system performs and ensure compliance with security standards
Apply OS patches and upgrades
Perform performance tuning ,hardware upgrades, and resource optimization required.
Create and modify automation script to perform OS administration tasks.
Define operational procedure and documentation Knowledge of SQL, Databases.
The applicant should feel comfortable with system administration of Unix/Linux infrastructure/Application, as well as a general understanding of Windows servers. 
Knowledge of MQ and Autosys. 
Scripting of operational administration tasks in one or more languages like Perl, Shell Scripting, Python...etc
The individual should have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in high pressure situations for Incident handling, management and resolution. 
Be available for weekend and on-call work.
Experience in incident, problem and change management.
Effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
