About the job
Linux SUSE Manager/Saltstack Admin Responsible for integration of systems on the existing infrastructure.
Understanding of EMC SAN, network architectures and network security practices are beneficial.
Excellent customer and interpersonal skills. Must be a flexible, organized, thoughtful, proactive team player who can work with minimal guidance and demonstrate strong abilities in cross-organizational teaming and in customer service.
Daily monitoring and maintenance of over several servers.
Perform back up, file replications and script management for servers. 
Test and apply new software and maintenance patches, including patch management services.
Solid fundamental knowledge of networking: basic operation of TCP, UDP, and routing. Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and SMTP. Working knowledge of HTTP and HTTPs, and the Apache web server.
An understanding of VMWARE virtualization technologies a plus.
Experience with SAN devices and RAID configuration preferred.
Working knowledge of installation tools for RHEL 5 and 6, including Kickstart, PXE, YUM, and RHN required.
Create and maintain custom packages for the RPM Package Manager (RPM).
Understanding of disaster recovery implementations.
