About the Opportunity

Inalab has an immediate opening for an Acquisitions Logistics Manager to provide Acquisition Logistics and Property Management Support on our contract providing Functional Area Professional Services to the Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS).  As the Logistics Manager for Acquisition Logistics and Property Management Support you will be responsible for overseeing services to provide day-to-day operational support as detailed in the Essential Responsibilities section.

Essential Responsibilities:

Examples of duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Advising the PEO leadership and PMs on all acquisition logistics matters
  • Reviewing and providing programs assistance/guidance on key supportability plans and strategies (Lifecycle Sustainment Plans, Capability Support Plans, Supportability Strategies, Transition Plans, Logistics Assessments, and Business Case Analyses, etc.)
  • Managing the PEO EIS Type Classification Process, which is a Process that identifies the life cycle status of a materiel system after a production decision by the assignment of a type classification designation. The process records the status of a materiel system as a guide to procurement, authorization, logistical support, asset, and readiness reporting. 
  • Coordinating Material Release and Depot Requirements with programs and Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM)
  • Support the planning, coordinating and developing and publishing logistics guidance and policy
  • Supporting establishment of Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DODAACs) and Unit Identification Code (UICs)
  • Planning and coordinating the implementation of Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) for PM owned inventory and Total Package Fielding (TPF)
  • Support the planning, coordinating, and conducting various logistics training activities
  • Acting as the primary interface to HQDA, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) and Army Materiel Command (AMC) for all logistics matters; (10) Overseeing and facilitating programs in maintaining accurate property accountability of organizational and non-fielded property/equipment
  • Coordinating property turn-ins with programs and the installation Logistics Readiness Center (LRC)
  • Acquisition Logistics Review all documents listed as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to determine if they are written properly and make recommendation(s) to the Government.
  • Review and assess Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LSCP)/Supportable Strategy and Capability Support Plan (CSP). 
  • Review all documents listed as an SME to determine if they are written properly. No approval of documentation is done, only review and recommendations to the Government.
  • Review and assess Integrated Logistics Support. Review all documents listed as a SME to determine if they are written properly. No approval of documentation is done, only review and recommendations to the Government.
  • Determine Performance Based Logistics Responsibility. Review all documents listed as an SME to determine if they are written properly. No approval of documentation is done, only review and recommendations to the Government.
  • Plan and coordinate DPAS and TPF. Review all documents listed as an SME to determine if they are written properly. No approval of documentation is done, only review and recommendations to the Government.
  • Review Memorandum of Agreement (MOAs) and Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs), as required. Review all documents listed as an SME to determine if they are written properly. No approval of documentation is done, only review and recommendations to the Government.
  • Monitor Milestone Decision Reviews.
  • Review and assess Material Fielding Plans, and provide assistance as required.
  • Coordinate Fielding related MOAs and Inter-service support agreements as required.
  • Participate in programs IPTs.
  • Coordinates with programs to ensure they have a valid IUID program in place by reviewing documentation submitted by each program.
  • Coordinate and synchronize Depot Maintenance Workload Distribution 50/50 Reporting.
  • Coordinate and synchronize Quarterly Depot Maintenance Budget Estimate Submission.
  • Coordinate and synchronize Annual Performance Based Logistics Submission.
  • Coordinate and synchronize annual PEO EIS OP Code 9 Stock Submission.
  • Coordinate and synchronize Monthly Property Accountability.
  • Review and provide recommended comments for revision of current and proposed Regulatory Publications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree (or higher) in a related field or equivalent years of experience.  
  • Eight or more years of experience
