Title : Logistics Transportation Specialist

La Verne, CA - 100% On site - (No remote Opportunities)

Ideal Candidate will posses excellent working knowledge and a background in Transportation logistics

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited) to the following:

 

• Coordinate international air shipments utilizing approved vendors and qualified solutions to Europe,
  
   

LATAM, APAC regions

 

• Coordinate domestic ground shipments utilizing approved vendors and qualified solutions to support
  
   

contract manufacturing schedules as well as finished good replenishment shipments

 

• Work closely with US Trade Operations group to support commercial shipment solutions out of US 3PL
• Follow all applicable procedures to ensure compliance to GMP standards
• Attend weekly meetings with Distribution team to ensure alignment of schedule
  
   

Professional skills/knowledge

 

• Previous experience within a Pharmaceutical and Logistics environment.
• Understanding of Forecasting and Supply and Demand Supply Chain models.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence in a positive manner
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Excellent understanding of ERP systems, specifically Oracle and SAP
• Excellent understanding of MS office
• Understanding of Quality Management and compliance systems within the Pharmaceutical industry
• Ability to initiate, drive, and manage projects to completion
• Ability to generate appropriate and robust business relationships with customers
• Ability to work within a dynamic Team environment
