M365 Security Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced M365 Security Solutions Architect to join our team and lead the design and implementation of Microsoft 365 (M365) security solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of M365 security features, threat landscape, and best practices to protect our organization's digital assets.

Responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect M365 security solutions that align with organizational needs and compliance requirements.
• Security Assessments: Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities within the M365 environment.
• Policy Development: Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data within M365.
• Identity and Access Management: Design and configure identity and access management solutions within M365, including Azure Active Directory, to ensure secure user access and authentication.
• Threat Detection and Response: Implement advanced threat detection and response solutions using M365 Security and Compliance Center, including configuring security alerts and automated incident response.
• Data Protection: Define and implement data protection strategies, including data loss prevention (DLP), encryption, and rights management, to safeguard sensitive information.
• Security Awareness: Educate and train staff on M365 security best practices and promote a culture of security awareness within the organization.
• Compliance: Ensure M365 security solutions align with industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or other relevant regulations.
• Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans and participate in security incident investigations when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience as an M365 Security Solutions Architect or similar role.
• Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of M365 security features, including Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Azure Information Protection, and Azure Sentinel.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and modern security threats.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to analyse complex security issues.
