We’re looking for a Mail Gateway/Postfix specialist to provide:

 

  • advanced level support (Level 3) for messaging Postfix infrastructure globally
  • perform stability, configuration, and integration tests.
  • deploy new production Linux infrastructure
  • support migration to new hardware & software releases
  • collaborate with Email Engineering to standardize and simplify the environment.
  • incident management of Mail host, Postfix, Linux and Exchange and Exchange Online related issues
  • comply with all regulatory, policy and quality standards, contributing to an effective risk culture.

 

Your team

 

You’ll be working in the End User Services division as a member of the Messaging and Collaborations Team in Zurich, Switzerland. This role is part of 3rd level team of engineers that support a diverse set of applications including email and messaging services, unified communications platforms, voice recording and M365 Cloud services. This position requires large enterprise experience with mission critical infrastructure management. This role fits into a global organization working with other regional teams and collaboration is key for success.

 

Your expertise

 

  • 5+ years of system administrator experience of Unix/LINUX, SMTP/Mailhost, Postfix and Exchange.
  • background in messaging and security principles.
  • experience with Unix/Linux high availability concepts
  • knowledge of the scripting language, Shell/Perl
  • understanding of the config distributions on SMTP/Mailhost environment
  • knowledge of MS Exchange, Exchange Online and the MS Outlook client
  • experience with large, regulated companies with complex IT infrastructure, preferably in the finance industry.
  • excellent troubleshooting skills
  • good documentation skills
  • ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
