Role Description:
Must have IMS DB.
· Knowledge of other Mainframe High-level languages such as Assembler, PL/1 is a plus.Write, test, and maintain high quality assembler code for mainframe applications.
· Ensure code meets functional and performance requirements.
· Create and maintain clear documentation for code, process, and system interactions.Work closely with other developers, system analysts and project managers to understand requirements.
· Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions.
· Write and manage JCL scripts for job submissions, data processing and system operations.
· Ensure code complies with organizational standards and best practices for security, performance and maintainability.
· Responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining assembler language.
· Role requires a strong understanding of computer architecture, memory management, and processor operations.
· Candidate will work closely with systems developers to ensure efficient and optimized software that meets system performance goals
