Mainframe Developer

Job Description
Java, mainframes, Kubernetes, cloud platform(AWS), RDBMS/DB2/Cassandra

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Proven expertise in application development and support environment with more than one technology and multiple design techniques
Advanced knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
Resource should have good understanding of below skills
Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming (Java, Python etc.).
Proficiency in handling Cloud base applications.
Proficiency in handling applications with Kubernetes concepts
Added advantage if they have Mainframe skills (COBOL/JCL/VSAM/CICS)
Understanding of risk controls and compliance to departmental and company-wide standards
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.

Domain Expert of the Infrastructure supported and interdependencies
§ Strong understanding of infrastructure components and how they are tracked and managed in various systems
§ Technological, Organizational and/or Operational change management
§ In depth knowledge of the Risk and Controls landscape they manage
