Mainframe Developer

Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of mainframe application analysis, development, and delivery experience with COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM/IAM, and IBM MQ
- Experience with CA IDMS is an added advantage
- Passionate commitment to delivering products on time
- Self-motivated

Functional Skills:
- Experience in the Banking Industry
- Experience in Mainframe Applications such as CBS/SAFE or CardLink
- Experience with the CICS Online application
- Experience for Batch Fine Tuning is a plus

 Technical Skills:
- COBOL Programming
- CICS Programming, debugging, and troubleshooting
- DevOps Tools such as Endeavor, Abend-Aid, File-Aid, CA Inter-Test, and more
- JCL (Job Control Language)
- Mainframe MVS
- VSAM/IAM Database
- IDMS (CV) Database is an advantage
- IBM MQ is an advantage
- Basic understanding of Assembler is an advantage

Responsibilities:
- Analysis, Design, Technical Specification, and Development of modernized mainframe applications
- POC of new/modern mainframe features/tools
- Support SIT and UAT for enhancements and projects
- Projects deployment and implementation to production
- Ensure tasks are completed on time
- Follow SDLC methods and best practices
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams
- Adhere to security standards and directives
