Mainframe Developer

Job Description:
Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain moderately complex to complex software components of the business application system using available developer tools.
• Create, execute, and review test plans, define and establish test data.
• Create and maintain software documentation and query and report system data using reporting tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software application development experience.
• Experience with COBOL, MVS/JCL, DB2, SQL, CICS, and VSAM in a mainframe environment.
• Strong experience with concepts, philosophies, and tools behind the design of applications.
• Strong experience with storage and retrieval of information in databases and other indexed storage methods.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Visio.
