Mainframe DevOps Lead/Technical Lead

Required skills:

1. Good understanding of z/OS systems and application landscape and z/OS application

2. In depth understanding of Endevor as SCM and deployment tool

3. In depth understanding of the IBM Z DevOps portfolio including Urban Code Deploy, IBM IDz, IBM Deploy, Git Rocket. IBM DBB 

4. Knowledge of modern SCMs such as Git, GitLabs etc.

5. Experience in Groovy scripting

6. Prior experience in Mainframe modernization

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for leading the migration of application from CA Endevor to IBM tool set mentioned above.

• Will be responsible for employing technical expertise to ensure smooth execution of the migration. 

• Will be responsible for collaborating with various stake holders to resolve issues and roadblocks.

• Will be responsible for the creation, execution and testing of groovy scripts for the compilation and deployment of code in Mainframe.

• Will be responsible for the creation, execution and testing of scripts for the extraction of code from CA Endevor and migrate it to Git.

• Will be responsible for training user on the tools usage such as IBM IDZ, Git, IBM DBB etc.

• Will be responsible for user migration from CA Endevor to Git.
