Mainframe Engineer

Essential Skills

• Experience in developing detailed QA Test Plan, test Scenarios, Test cases and test reporting, RTM

• Experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, EZTRIEVE, or CICS, DB2 or SQL databases.

• TSO / ISPF, XPEDITOR, QMF, FILEAID, SORT utilities, or StarTool utilities, XML and MQ (z/series), REXX or CLIST .

• version control tools such as ChangeMan or Endeavor

• Knowledge of various testing phases Compatibility testing, Smoke & Sanity testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Black box testing, Functional testing

• Experience in cross browser testing with knowledge of browser specific rendering issues.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is must

Bonus skills

• Knowledge of Selenium & UFT automation.

• Experience on DevOps testing for build image, build/test Pipeline, Containers, Dockers.

• Experience with relational databases and SQL queries and Oracle database
